The CEMC welcomes students and teachers to the University of Waterloo campus throughout the year for a variety of stimulating and enjoyable enrichment activities. CEMC faculty members also enjoy
visiting schools to share their passion for mathematics and computer science.
Opportunities For Students Math Circles is a weekly enrichment activity for students in grades 6 to 12 organized by the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. The CEMC Seminar in Computer Science for Young Women is a unique opportunity for selected female students from across Canada. The seminar's purpose is to spark interest in computer science among young high school girls. Seminars are held every May and June.
Think About Math! (TAM) is designed to ignite enthusiasm in high school girls for mathematics. It is a weekend conference demonstrating that math is fun, relevant, and leads to exciting careers. TAM is held every May.

Opportunities for Teachers The Summer Institute for Computer Studies Educators is a wonderful chance for computer engineering and computer science teachers to network with other teachers, learn new skills and brainstorm classroom activity ideas. It is held every August. The Math Teachers' Workshops and Seminars is a popular event with a focus on the integration of problem solving and technology into the curriculum and enrichment activities. It is held every August.
